RB Clip Gun Operating and Maintenance Tips

Load the clips...

Depress the "wings" of the pusher assembly and
pull it straight out. Slide a strip of 25 clips into
the clip chute and replace the pusher assembly.

...fire the gun...

Place the clip gun over
the cable so that it lays
flat against the surface
of the wood. Keeping the
gun firmly against the
surface, fire the gun
two times to insure that
each clip is fully seated.

...then rotate off!

With the handle depressed
after the second firing, rotate
the gun "backwards"using
the back of the gun as a
rotational axis.

Clean and lubricate the gun on a regular basis
Periodic cleaning and lubricating will
maintain the performance and improve
the longevity of the RB Clip Guns.

Flush out the interior of the gun and
the clip chute with a silicon spray to
remove dirt particles. Spray down into
the gun beneath the handle, and up
from the bottom around the driver
blade to lubricate the moving parts.

Preventive maintenance is recommended
every month. However, if you are doing a
large number of installations, you may
wish to clean and lubricate more often.
